VirtueMart是 一個開放原始碼的電子商務解決方案，它必須跟Joomal內容管理系統一起使用，其功能強大的購物車功能，豐富的擴充資源，使它成為國外相當受歡迎的購物 網站建置方案。Joomla! 與VirtueMart 都是使用PHP程式語言設計而成，容易安裝在 PHP / MySQL的網站伺服器環境中，兩個軟體任何人都可以免費使用。我目前有在台南市救國團教育中心開設「VirtueMart購物網站建置實務」，有興趣的 人士可以報名參加，學習如何用最經濟的方式建置購物網站。JOYCAT網站上有許多VittueMart的教學文章，我的學生建置的購物網站也陳列在網站 上。
